In consultation with the client we will advise a geophysical survey if UXO contamination is suspected from historical research. The most effective technique or combination of techniques will be based on specific circumstances on the project site. Deminetec-ECG employs UXO specialists trained to survey any type of soil and interpret forthcoming data. Both on land and underwater.
Deliverables
The locations, mass and depth of foreign objects (such as explosives) are mapped and a UXO expert interprets the acquired geophysical data. This results in a report containing a list of objects that are suspected of being explosive remnants of war as well as a visualisation of their position. Finally, we conclude with advisable follow-up steps to mitigate further risks.
