What is UXO clearance and recovery?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Clearing an area from potential explosive remnants of war is done by further investigating detected foreign objects. A\u00a0geophysical survey results in a list of locations with detected foreign objects that need further investigation. Each location is investigated through a self-repeating cycle of pinpointing the object and layered excavation until identification is possible.<\/p>\n

Confirmed conventional and toxic explosives are temporarily secured, either in situ or at a safer location. Deminetec-ECG will safeguard all personnel, the site and nearby infrastructure until hand-over to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal services.<\/p>\n

Deliverables<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The outcomes of UXO clearance activities are documented. The final report contains all data and indicates the mitigation of risks As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) within the project site. Work can now be executed safely.<\/p>\n
